Over recent months the Association’s membership has enjoyed further expansion with several key businesses coming into the fold.

The first of these is Plenum Engineering & Maintenance Services, which joins the Association as International Members. Established in 2019, this UAE based business offers a service facility focused on repair and maintenance solutions for all types of electric motors, pumps and generators across the Gulf region. A combination of specialist engineers, supported by the latest tools, equipment, and test facilities, have enabled it to become a leading service provider of critical equipment for major sectors such as power, oil & gas, along with numerous other industrial sectors.

The second International Member to enjoy the benefits offered by the AEMT is Global Marine Services, which provides a range of key services to the offshore and marine environment. Key amongst these is the maintenance and repair of all AC/DC electric motors, submersible pumps, generators, alternators, and HV/LV transformers. But the company also specialises in other safety based disciplines including fire extinguisher inspections and maintenance, fire suppression systems and lifeboat servicing.

Joining the Association as Associate Members are Van Houcke UK and iTrackz, both of which help to serve the healthy internal market that exists within the AEMT.

Operating out of Northampton, as a subsidiary of Belgium based Van Houcke NV, the company is a specialist provider of electric motors. Its comprehensive range, including IE2, IE3 and IE4 motors, as well as ATEX/IECEx certified products, allows it to service key sectors such as marine, oil and gas and other specialist industries.

iTrackz provides intrinsically safe, Industrial Internet of Things focused asset monitoring solutions enabling it to deliver a tailored product for any condition monitoring project. The company can supply intrinsically safe gateways, secure cloud services and smart data analytics to a wide range of industry sectors, from manufacturing to healthcare, renewables to agriculture and aviation services to utilities.

Commenting on these latest additions to the Association’s membership, Thomas Marks, AEMT Secretary and General Manager, said: “It is pleasing to know that the business benefits associated with membership are still valued by a growing number of repair and maintenance related businesses, and as such I am delighted to welcome these companies into the association and look forward to providing them with all the support at our disposal.”
